Traveling with friends or family can be very expensive. When was the last time that you actually traveled with your friends for a long weekend to somewhere fun? I know for us it does not happen often! Well, what if I told you that there was a way for you to save money while traveling, would you be interested! Well I want to tell you about my new travel secrets! How much time do you actually spend in the hotel? Not enough time to spend $100's of dollars, stay somewhere inexpensive. If you aren't planning a trip to a place that is a spa retreat, then stay cheap. It gives you more money to spend on an evening out or even attractions. Stay tuned you will learn so much more...

So now is the time to start putting some money aside for that big trip that you keep talking about. It is important to get away for atleast a week out of the year! A lot of tension can arise if you do not give yourself atleast one week to relax from the rest of the world. Just think, if you start putting a dollard aside everyday, by the end of the year you will have enough money to take a pretty nice trip to somewhere exotic or even fun and crazy. Go skiing.. have fun!!

You don't have to be doing something at all times when you are on vacation. Vacations can be meant for relaxing as well as having fun in a different area. The best vacation is some place that you can be doing things to keep busy. We recently went to Disney World in Orlando, we were not at a park everday, but we deffinately had a great time. There were some points where we were just hanging out at the hotel or even shopping! It doesn't matter because there is always something for everyone!!!

Traveling does not mean that you have to leave the country or even the state! When you have children, make a fun weekend out of your backyard! Pitch a tent, set up the grill, bring some sticks to start a small fire. I am sure that there are parks near by that have campgrounds, but saving money may be an issue for the family. So the backyard will work just fine! It is more fun for the children when you get more creative with things, than planning a trip a few hours away. The car ride may get irritating to them, which would cause agrivation for you. So plan near home, and everything will be great!

Happy New Year!! I hope that it is a great year for everyone filled with many funfilled vacations. This year I have made a few great new years resolutions. My favorite one, and the one that I am going to stick to is to take at least 4 trips this year to places that I have nevered visited. For instance, instead of visiting Las Vegas try Atlantic City! For me a fun and easy trip is to travel to Orlando, it only takes about 3 hours to get there. Well I have decided that instead of going to Orlando, because I have been there so many times why not travel to Georgia. We have somne friends and family there, and we have never been. Never been, that is the key if you have not been somewhere try going. Explore new places and new surroundings!
