Travel Experiences

Everyone travels at some point in their lives. We are trying to create an open forum so that everyone can share their good and bad experiences with us. We want to know who everyone uses to book all of their travel arrangements. We would like to think of this as a way for people to hear about travel experiences from people like themselves. I love traveling, but there are many places that I do not know about and with this, we may be able to teach each other a little something new!

Ok, so last time I was telling everyone about the bachlorette party, this time I want to talk about what my hubby and I want to do for our one year anniversary. So many people have been telling us that Lake Tahoe is to die for, so we have decided that we should go and check it out. You see the good thing about that is that not only do they have a few casino's but we also were married in winter time so when we go it will more than likely be snowing which is great. You see, we are to deprived children we have never really been around snow. I mean we have seen it a couple of times, but just a bit on the ground melting. Oh and we saw snow when our plane was delayed in Detroit on our way to Vegas for our honeymoon. It was great, I was wearing sandals, and my husband was running up and down the streets of the airport in Detroit playing in the snow! So that is our plans, we are going to try some skiing, maybe a bit of snowboarding, and of course gamble..

Well since I have taken over my fathers Blog, I figure that I would talk about some fun stuff that we are planning for my sisters wedding. Well I am new to this topic, not the wedding topic, but the topic of traveling out of state for the bachelor/bachlorette party. See, my sister is the type of person that has to have the best everything! She is a great person, just a bit spoiled, don't get me wrong, I was given pretty much everything that I wanted growing up. The difference is that I try never to ask for anything that is not absolutly necessary. Anyway, for my bachloretter party we had a fabulous dinner with all the ladies at one of those restuarants that you only eat at for special occassions! My sister, she wants to go to New York City! We arer planning to see Hairspray on Broadway, and shop till we drop. The only problem is that we have not yet decided on where we plan to stay! We were thinking the W Hotel, but I have not heard all wonderful things about it. If anyone has any suggestions we would prefer to stay in the Times Square area. Let me know!

How many of you live in the Florida area, or atleast frequent it? Well I have lived here all my life and for those of you that vacation to this area in the mid October to mid November there is something amazing that not many people know of! It is the Food and Wine Festival in Epcot. For those of you that have been there know what I mean, but if you have not been there you must go!!! It is wonderful. All the countries set up small tents directly infront of the buildings that symbolize each country. They each have some type of food and a beverage that has to do with their heritage. So what you have to pay a few dollars for each thing that you try from each country, but it is so worth it! Margaritas from Mexico, Kirin Ichiban from Japan, they even had some chocolate covered strawberries from USA one year. I am telling you if you have not been, then you must go! Take my word for it!

The change is piling up and it is only a matter of time before I take one of those splended vacations. I think that it is so important to take a trip atleast once every 2- 3 months even if it is just to a hotel for the night. It keeps your mind at ease, and your relationship strong. When you are constently working or living the everyday life. Everyone needs a break. I have been reading these relaxation on vacations kind of books. Let me tell you, it really just turns you into a whole new person. Just recently I went to a spa, even if it is just for a manicure and pedicure it really just takes you to a different place. Please take my word on it.. Before you have a nervous breakdown, take a break.
